Never Give up

NEVER QUIT, DON’T GIVE UP.

In life we fail, sometimes once, sometimes twice, sometimes thrice and sometimes every time. So we decide to quit, because we did our best but it was not good enough. Sometimes too we succeed and then out of no where we make a little mistake and it makes us feel like we have failed totally.

Oftentimes people look at our size, our height, our color, our country, our past and tell us we cannot achieve anything great.

Sometimes we believe them, other times we think they are right. So we quit and give up and we hide ourselves from the world and from the people who look up to us.

We hide our dreams, we hide our passion, we hide our talent, we hide our skill, we hide our ideas. We coil and retire to being quiet and to stay out of trouble.

But everyday we look at ourselves in the mirror and we hear the still small voice telling us, never give up and don’t quit but we ignore it.

We begin to resort to all avenues and mediums to help us feel okay.

Sometimes we begin to calm ourselves with alcohol, substance abuse, drugs, sex and many more because we know we are hurting deep inside and we just don’t believe there is anything good still left in us. But today I want to change your mindset of failure and giving up.

When we fail it means
F – First
A – Attempt
I – In
L- Life

And like everyone when we were learning to walk as children we fell many times but we kept trying until we could walk.

After we could walk now we can run, but before we had to fall to learn not to fall.

So in life, we fail to learn how not to fail. We don’t quit to learn how to succeed.

Steve Jobs was fired from Apple a company he helped build because he failed at some point. But He went away to learn not to fall anymore because he who has fallen fears no fall.

When he came back to Apple, those who had not failed could not match him anymore because he has learnt from his mistake.

In 2006, I watched the world cup finals and I saw a legend at the time called Zinedine Zidane about to crown his amazing career with a world cup trophy but he made a mistake and he failed and was shamed in front of the whole world.

Many people taught he was finished but after 10 years in 2016 he has been made the coach of the biggest and richest powerful football club in the whole world called Real Madrid.

Today I want to tell you too not to quit or give up because you have failed in the past.

I love you and I want you to promise me that you too wont give up. “Because when you Keep trying, you will come out flying.”

vice president is lying

A country is strongest when everyone feels they are equal citizens. The idea that one race is more important than others breaks this unity. It creates division and makes some people feel like they don’t truly belong, even if they were born there. A nation’s identity should be like a big umbrella that covers and protects everyone inside it equally.

This is why the jobs of President and Vice-President are so important. They are meant to be leaders for every single person in the country, not just for one tribe or group or to defend a racist guy who  hates other race, They should represent national unity, showing that what everyone has in common is more powerful than their differences. When people see these leaders, they should see a reflection of the whole country’s dignity, not just a symbol for one part of it.

In the end, true patriotism means believing in the country itself—its values, its peace, and its future—above any single race. Teaching this in schools prepares everyone to work together and build a society where no one is seen as above or below because of their background. It’s about uniting under a shared national identity.

You can solves CHELLENGEs without violence

In every aspect there are some challenges and not all matters should be taken with violence, sometimes one needs to sit, listen and settle amicably some forms of disagreement.

Sometimes when we include violence in some issues, we will only complicate the issue and not propound solutions to it.

But when we sit down, explain the issues, know the areas where the problem is emanating from, find a means of solving the problem and restore peace. Then you will be making progress.

When we include violence in some issues, we will destroy things and sometimes waste life and still not solve the problem.

Though some issues requires violence but there are still some issues that should be solved amicably.

For example, when there is a disagreement between a drunk man and an high tempered man, if such disagreement is taken with violence, things will be destroyed, the people involved might be injured and the problem might be compounded.

But if such issues is settled without violence, you will come to discover that the problem was caused by just a minor disagreement which can be settled amicably.

Not all issues requires violence.

How I terribly failed to cook my first day “Sambusa” Somalis food

Write about your most epic baking or cooking fail.

Sure, Here’s a humorous summary of my experience in failing to cook Somali sambusa:

So, my first day in beautiful land of Somali’ land That’s Garissa town,I decided to embark on a culinary adventure and try my hand at making authentic Somali sambusa. Armed with a recipe and a determination to impress, I ventured into the kitchen, ready to conquer the world of Somali cuisine.

First, I gathered all the necessary ingredients – the vibrant spices, the fragrant onions, the delicate pastry sheets. Feeling confident, I began chopping and dicing, imagining the scrumptious sambusa I would soon be devouring.

However, things started going downhill right from the start. I completely misjudged the measurements of the spices and ended up transforming my sambusa filling into a spicy fireball. It was as if I had accidentally created a miniature volcano in my kitchen!

Undeterred by the spicy setback, I soldiered on, determined to salvage my sambusas. Now came the tricky part – the art of folding the pastry. I tried my best to mimic the intricate folds I had seen in pictures, but my sambusa triangles ended up looking more like misshapen origami experiments gone wrong. They were a far cry from the perfectly symmetrical delicacies I had envisioned.

Next, it was time to fry my creations. I carefully placed my sambusas in a pot of sizzling oil, eagerly awaiting that golden, crispy exterior. Little did I know that my oil wasn’t hot enough, resulting in a sad, soggy mess instead. It was like my sambusas had been caught in a rainstorm, losing all their crunchiness in the process.

Finally, after much anticipation, I took a bite of my sambusa creation. Oh boy, what a disaster! The filling was still overwhelmingly spicy, the pastry was undercooked, and the overall taste was far from the authentic Somali flavors I had hoped for. It was like a culinary catastrophe had taken place.

So, my dear friend, that’s the tale of how I failed spectacularly in my attempt to cook Somali sambusa. But fear not, for this comedic disaster has only fueled my determination to improve and try again. One day, with practice and a little less spice-induced chaos, I might just manage to conquer the art of sambusa-making. Until then, let’s stick to ordering takeout!
